Fire extinguisher training dates for fall 2021

The Environmental Health and Safety Department suggests annual Fire Extinguisher Training, WTD159, for all university employees. Training will be offered several times this fall.

Prior to attending the training session, you must complete a fire extinguisher online training course. Upon completion of the online course, you will receive a certificate. Please sign and date the printed certificate and bring it with you to the classroom training session.

There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Maximum attendance for each session is 15.

All sessions are held in the training room of the physical facilities storage building on the following times and dates: 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14; 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28; 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12; 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26; 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9; 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23; 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14; and 1-2 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 28. 

Participants may register through HRIS self-service or send an email to Megan Eakin at learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID, course title WTD159 and date desired.
