Pollution Prevention Intern Program now accepting applications

Submitted by Allison Crowther

The Kansas State University Pollution Prevention Institute is seeking internship applications from students majoring in engineering, environmental science or other relevant physical sciences for 2021 summer internships. Applicants must be junior level or higher. Some positions may require the student to be a U.S. citizen.

The interns will be paired with Kansas companies to research and develop projects that will prevent pollution by reducing usage of energy, water and toxic chemicals while producing recommendations to help the environment, save money and improve workplaces.

The online application for this internship program is available at sbeap.org/intern-program/intern-app. Deadline for submittal is March 31 at close of business.
