Diversity programming quarter one applications due Friday, March 12

Submitted by Maggie Billman

The Diversity Programming Committee is accepting funding applications until 5 p.m. Friday, March 12, for events planned for the beginning of the fall 2021 semester through Oct. 31. These requests will be reviewed at the committee's March 24 meeting, which applicants are invited to attend. The application can be found online

The Diversity Programming Committee allocates funds to student organizations that are hosting large-scale events intended to dissuade prejudice and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, geographic location or age. Requests for funding must be a minimum of $3,000 and the events must be hosted on K-State's campus or via an online platform. Funding cannot be provided for food, giveaway items, or personal materials. Additionally, projects must be free and open to all K-State students.

Any questions can be directed to chair Maggie Billman at maggiekay@k-state.edu.
