Submitted by Kali Poenitske

The Mark Chapman Scholars program aids College of Arts and Sciences undergraduate students as they pursue meaningful summer projects or activities related to their future career goals. The $5,000 award, for first- and second-year students, provides $3,000 in funding for the summer experience with an additional $2,000 in academic funding for the following school year.

Five awards will be available for summer 2021. Students from all arts and sciences majors are encouraged to apply. For more information on past projects, applicant eligibility, and to download the application, visit the Chapman Scholars Program website.

Please contact Jim Hohenbary at jimlth@k-state.edu if you have any questions about the application or the program. Applications are due by March 1, submitted to 215 Fairchild Hall or remotely to jimlth@k-state.edu
