K-State Libraries fall and winter break hours

Submitted by Cailin Riley

Over the next few months, the Libraries' hours will change for both fall and winter break. A full list of all Libraries' hours is available online.

Hale Library will be closed Nov. 26-29; however, the first floor of Hale Library will be open during dead week and finals week. Hale Library will be closed Dec. 12 through Jan. 24, 2021, to complete the renovation of the building. All floors are scheduled to be open beginning Jan. 25, 2021. To see specific hours, please visit the library's hours calendar.

The Paul Weigel Library of Architecture, Planning and Design will be closed during fall break, but will reopen for dead week and finals week. The Math/Physics Library will be closed during fall break and Dec. 19 through Jan. 10, 2021.

Ask a Librarian chat services will be available throughout the break Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Nov. 26 and 27, Dec. 24 through Jan. 3, 2021, and Jan. 18, 2021.

While Hale Library is closed, the Libraries will offer an easy book pickup service for requests from interlibrary loan, the Math/Physics Library and the Annex, the Libraries' off-site storage facility. Patrons can make requests as usual, and the Libraries will send an email to schedule a time for pick up at Hale Library's second-floor entrance.

Interlibrary loan and the Annex will be closed Nov. 25 through Nov. 29 and Dec. 24 through Jan. 3, 2021.
