Kansas State University continues to provide updates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following is a summary of announcements from Oct. 26-30.

Updates continue to be posted on the COVID-19 website, which includes guidance and frequently asked questions about the return to university campuses. Content that has been added this week includes the updated university definition of close contact in response to changes in CDC guidance.

The university continues to track and evaluate COVID-19 data in our community.
Every week, K-State is updating the online dashboard that tracks COVID-19 data in university-connected communities.

How you can safely celebrate Halloween in 2020.
Read tips to keep you, your friends and your community safe and reduce the spread of COVID-19 this Halloween. See ways to safely celebrate, including these K-State-themed stencils for pumpkin carving at home or with friends while outside and physically distanced.

Lafene Health Center continues to offer asymptomatic COVID-19 testing.
K-State students can participate in voluntary asymptomatic COVID-19 testing. Learn more about the asymptomatic testing process in this video from Lafene Health Center.

The COVID-19 compliance survey results are available.
The results from the fifth and final COVID-19 compliance survey of the fall semester are available. The compliance survey has been administered every two weeks through the fall semester and will resume in the spring.

It's time to get your flu vaccine.
Lafene Health Center continues to offer the flu vaccine for all students, faculty and staff. It is best to get vaccinated before influenza viruses start to spread in your community and before traveling home for holidays and winter break. Appointments at Lafene Health Center can be made on the myLafene+ patient portal or by calling 785-532-6544.
