K-State Libraries' services continue this summer

Submitted by Cailin Riley

K-State Libraries will continue to provide services and resources to students this summer for online classes.

Librarians and staff are available by email or chat to answer research questions or to provide help with using online resources. Summer chat service hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For general questions, use the Ask A Librarian service. To contact your subject librarian, email them directly. Research Guides are also available; these guides are divided by subject and can help you navigate the best ways to find articles and research related to your class.

Many research materials can be accessed remotely online though our Search It tool on our website by using your eID and password. If the Libraries don't have an article you need, you can submit an Interlibrary Loan request, and we will try to get it from another library.

As a reminder, the Libraries will not be charging fees or fines during this period of reduced on-campus activity. If you have an item that is due, but you are not able to return it, please renew that item online by logging in to your account. If you cannot renew the item, please contact us so we can make accommodations.

All library locations currently remain closed. The Libraries are working on plans to reopen in phases in accordance with state and local officials and university guidelines. You can find more information about our resources on the Libraries' continuation of services webpage.
