SafeRide services suspended until fall 2020 semester

Submitted by Center for Student Involvement

The free SafeRide services will be suspended until the fall 2020 semester following the reduction of students being in the Manhattan community as a result of COVID-19. This includes no SafeRide services on Saturday, March 21.

Over the course of the next several months, a new service provider will be identified and the SafeRide program will relaunch in the fall 2020 semester as a shared ride service as opposed to the current bus transit operation.

Additional information about the changes coming to SafeRide via K-State Today and other social media notifications.

Also, the university's COVID-19 website is compiling a list of events and services changes, cancellations and closings.
