Special Committee on Rural Student Success Looking for members

Submitted by Nathan Bothwell

Student Governing Association is looking for members for a Special Committee on Rural Student Success. Students who are interested can apply online. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5.

Pending charter approval by Student Senate, the Special Committee on Rural Student Success will meet throughout the year to examine unique challenges rural students encounter while pursuing higher education. The primary aim of the committee is to compile a report displaying these challenges and proposed solutions that will be presented to administration and Student Senate.

Any questions or concerns can be directed to Hannah Heatherman, speaker of the Student Senate, at hheatherman@k-state.edu
