Calling all warriors: Military research volunteers needed

Submitted by Jesse Stein

Free t-shirt

K-State researchers are currently recruiting military personnel to examine the relationship between physical fitness and combat effectiveness, and the effects of caffeine on combat effectiveness. All visits will take place in the Natatorium/Ahearn Complex at Kansas State University.

Participants will receive free genetic testing for caffeine metabolism, body composition analysis, physical fitness testing, and practice with a commercial EST. Additionally, participants will receive a free T-shirt.

Participants must be 18-60 years old and must have a military qualification with a firearm. Participants also must be willing to commit approximately 3-4 hours of their time over four laboratory visits. The four visits will take between 45-90 minutes.

Individuals who are interested can take this survey to begin the screening process.
