Call for fiscal year 2020 academic competition team funding proposals

Submitted by Jordan Martin

On behalf of the Kansas State University Student Governing Association, we want to inform you of an opportunity for funding. The Academic Competition Teams Committee will collect and review proposals for fiscal year 2020 funding.

The Academic Competition Teams Committee was created in 2017 by the K-State SGA as a way to streamline the process to allocate funds to these similar organizations. This money feeds directly from students' privilege fee dollars and has funded dozens of teams en route to championships.

If you are the advisor or president of an academic competition team that is registered with the Center for Student Involvement, please consider applying for funding. Note that not every proposal received will be fully or even partially funded.

The deadline to submit proposals is 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, via an OrgSync form. Any proposals received after the deadline will not be considered for funding. Once your proposal is submitted, we will work with you to schedule an appointment on Feb. 24, March 3 or March 17.
