Geography colloquium Sept. 14 examines how rivers shape the landscape

Abby Langston, research assistant professor of geography in K-State's College of Arts and Sciences, will present "Understanding and quantifying how rivers shape the landscape: A coupled field and modeling approach" at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, in the Wildcat Chamber at the K-State Student Union. 

Langston's talk is part of the geography department's visiting scholar series and is sponsored by the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society and the geography department.
