The public and university community are invited to the Kirmser Undergraduate Research Awards ceremony from 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in the Hemisphere Room on Hale Library's fifth floor.

Grand prize winners and honorable mentions will be announced in three categories:

  • Individual freshman project — $1,000 grand prize.
  • Individual undergraduate project, non-freshman — $1,000 grand prize.
  • Undergraduate group project — minimum $2,000 grand prize.

Funded by a gift to K-State Libraries from Philip and Jeune Kirmser, the awards were established to recognize and promote outstanding scholarship among K-State's undergraduates.
