K-State Confucius Institute offers Chinese Name Pronunciation Workshop
On Friday, Jan. 19, the K-State Confucius Institute is offering a free workshop to help pronounce Chinese names. It will be from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 209 of the K-State Student Union.
The workshop will cover the basics of Chinese naming conventions and offer easy-to-follow, practical tips on Chinese name pronunciation. This free event is open to anyone and will be especially useful for professors, teachers and anyone who would like to learn the correct pronunciation of Chinese names.
Participants are welcome to bring lunch. Coffee and cookies will be provided.
