GMAT vs. GRE: Which test is right for you?

Submitted by Joelle Pitts

The Kansas State University chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi has partnered with the Princeton Review to offer K-State students a free course exploring the differences between the GMAT and GRE. Taught by Princeton Review experts, this course will help you decide which test leans toward your strengths as you consider graduate school.

The course will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, in Room 1109, the engineering auditorium in the engineering complex. Though registration is not required, you can learn more and sign up on the Princeton Review website.

The Princeton Review will be on campus again on Thursday, Oct. 26, for a Math Boot Camp for the GMAT and GRE tests. This event will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. in Room 1109, the engineering auditorium in the engineering complex. Topics will include:

  • How to approach problems.
  • Review of math fundamentals.
  • Which basic math concepts are tested on the GRE and GMAT.

Please visit Phi Kappa Phi's website for more information and email Jane Schillie at schillie@k-state.edu with questions about either event.
