Participants needed for nutrition research study

Submitted by Kelsey Casey

Researchers in the food, nutrition, dietetics and health department seek participants for a nutrition study. Eligible participants must be healthy adults with no allergies to nuts or gluten.

The study involves coming into the lab for three visits. At each visit participants will be asked to eat either an energy bar, or white bread. Participants will remain in the lab for 2 hours per visit while researchers monitor metabolic response via a finger stick.

Participants will receive free food and $30. While in the lab, participants can be on a computer, read, etc.

This study has been reviewed by the Institutional Review Board and received approval No. 8078.
