Collegiate 4-H Club seeking members
Submitted by Brianna Zweimiller
Collegiate 4-H is a group of K-State students working together to keep the 4-H legacy alive and inspire today's youth to make the best better. Our group serves 4-H programs and 4-H youth across the state of Kansas, primarily by leading officer trainings and volunteering to judge club day competitions. Our members also volunteer with the Riley County 4-H program in and around Manhattan.
The club is open to all majors and anyone interested in 4-H — even those without a 4-H background. As 100 percent of our activities and events involve working with youth, we are an especially great organization for education and early childhood development majors to join and gain experience working with youth of all ages.
If you are interested in learning more about our club, join us at a special information meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, on the first floor lobby of Throckmorton Hall. If you are unable to attend, our regular scheduled meetings are at 6:30 p.m the first and third Mondays of every month in 4031 Throckmorton. For additional information, contact Brianna Zweimiller at briannaz@k-state.edu.
