Honors Program talk: Special collections presentation, TED talk
Join University Honors Program students and the program's executive board at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, in Room 227 at the K-State Student Union for a presentation featuring David Vail from the K-State Libaries' Special Collections.
Vail will present "Notes from the Past: Researching in University Archives and Special Collections." He will discuss the various collections available at K-State, as well as research methods and strengths of K-State's Special Collections.
Following Vail's presentation, a TED talk by Nic Marks, "The Happy Planet Index," will be shown with open discussion following. This is an opportunity to listen and ponder what the real measures of wealth in the world are.
