May/August 2016 intersession course proposals due Nov. 13

Submitted by Rosanna Vail

Kansas State University Global Campus is currently accepting course proposals for May and August 2016 intersessions. Intersession provides accelerated course options that help students work toward their degrees in a timely way.

The deadline for May and August 2016 intersession course submissions is Nov. 13.

Upcoming session dates:
May 2016 intersession — May 16-June 3, 2016
August 2016 intersession — Aug. 1-19, 2016

Beginning with August 2015, intersession courses permanently moved to the 50/50 model of compensation that is in place for regular semesters. This means the department will be directly paying instructors an agreed-upon rate, and the balance of funds can stay with your college/department as income.

Submit your intersession courses through the online form. For assistance with overload approval, course submissions or questions, contact the intersession program coordinator, Jo Maseberg-Tomlinson at jam4545@k-state.edu or 785-532-2570.
