Design Expo today: Discover your opportunities

Kansas State University's Design Expo will host 51 professional firms to discuss full-time and internship opportunities with students from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, March 9, at the K-State Alumni Center Ballroom. Several organizations will stay following the event for same-day interviews; others will perform next-day interviews Tuesday, March 10.
Firms attending the expo will seek students who are presently studying in various design fields. Disciplines include architecture, interior architecture and product design, interior design, graphic design, landscape architecture and community planning, among others.
A sample of firms and organizations represented include: Gensler, Houston, Texas; Perkins Eastman, New York, New York; BNIM Architects, Kansas City, Missouri; 1Architecture, Tulsa, Oklahoma; GLMV Architecture Inc., Wichita; PGAV Destinations, Corgan, Dallas, Texas; St. Louis, Missouri; Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc., Reston, Virginia; Ware Malcomb, Irvine, California; Treanor Architects, Lawrence; Perkins + Will, Dallas, Texas.
Students are encouraged to dress in business professional attire, bring several copies of their resume, portfolio materials or work samples, and their student ID. A full listing of attending organizations is available online.
