Free noontime yoga relieves stress, improves fitness

Submitted by Sue Brown

Noontime yoga is a free program that provides an outlet for students, staff, faculty and community members to practice yoga together in a friendly, noncompetitive environment. Join us from 12:05-12:50 p.m. Monday through Friday in 301 Ahearn Field House. Noontime yoga is sponsored by the K-State Center for Nonviolence.

Please bring a mat if you have one; only a few loaner mats for first-timers are available. Wear loose comfortable clothing.

Sign up for the group email list and receive information about cancellations and upcoming events. The schedule of volunteer yoga instructors will change monthly.

In September, Dan Swenson will lead on Mondays, Lora Adair on Tuesdays, Alana Pfeifer on Wednesdays, Maria Arvanitakis on Thursdays and Sue Brown on Fridays.

If you have any questions, email Brown at sjbrown@k-state.edu or Swenson at swenson.home@gmail.com.
