Harvard professor of African-American studies and philosophy to speak Feb. 27

Tommie Shelby, Harvard professor of African and African-American studies and philosophy, will speak at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, in 203 Dickens Hall.

Shelby, author of "We Who Are Dark: The Philosophical Foundations of Black Solidarity," published by Harvard in 2005, will present a talk for the philosophy department speakers series titled "Punishment, Condemnation, and Social Injustice."
