Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow to host Professional Development Conference

Submitted by Bridget Hoover

K-State's Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow club will host the spring 2014 Professional Development Conference, Feb. 6-8, 2014.

The club is an organization on campus dedicated to advocating the agriculture industry by using effective communication skills and attending professional events to learn more about communication within the agriculture industry.

Each year a university chapter is selected to host the conference and this time it is K-State’s turn.

About 150 students from across the U.S. will attend this event. Learn more about the conference.

Registration for the conference can be completed on the conference website. Speakers will include Gary Conklin and Barry Flinchbaugh. Tours of the Wheat Innovation Center, Kansas Wheat, International Grains Program and the Hal Ross Flour Mill will be offered.
