Submitted by Student Creative Services

Delfest, named after the iconic actor, comedian, improviser, Manhattan native and Kansas State University alumnus Del Close, is On the Spot Improv's annual collegiate improv comedy festival.

K-State will enter two professional teams, along with performances from Ohio State University, Ball State University, the University of Missouri, the University of Kansas and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The event will feature free improv shows and a public workshop open to all.

The free improv performances will be 8-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at the Purple Masque Theatre and 7-10 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in Forum Hall, ground floor, K-State Student Union. The free public workshop will be available 3:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in Forum Hall.

On the Spot is K-State's premier improv comedy team that shares the art of theatrical improvisation through performances, workshops and travel. Find On the Spot on OrgCentral for more information.
