Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects hosts Park(ing) Day 2018

Submitted by Bridget Hake

Join members of the K-State Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architecture, or SCASLA, as they host PARK(ing) Day 2018 in Aggieville. The event will take place between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 21 in Triangle Park.

PARK(ing) Day is an annual, international design event that transforms parking spaces into usable public space.

A bench — designed by Landscape Forms — that will be raffled off by SCASLA this fall will be unveiled at PARK(ing) Day. Stop by to see the temporary design installations, play games, win prizes and learn more about the power of public space.
