Submitted by Matthew Blomberg

Looking to participate in the K-State 48-Hour Film Festival, and want to brush up on your video production skills or even learn some of the basic techniques behind filmmaking? K-State students will have the opportunity to attend a series of free training workshops, led by K-State video producers and staff. Topics covered in these sessions will range from storytelling, audio production, camera and lighting techniques and filming with your cell phone or tablet.

The K-State 48-Hour Film Festival offers K-State students the opportunity to showcase their work and creativity through the creation of a short film, in only 48 hours. The kickoff begins March 31 and ends on April 2. The films will be judged by professional filmmakers throughout the Midwest and screened at the festival's exhibition and awards ceremony on April 9.

Visit www.k-state.edu/48filmfest for more information and to get your team signed up!
