National Society of Black Engineers to host Engineering a Dream day camp

Submitted by Thurman Williams

The K-State National Society of Black Engineers will host Engineering a Dream from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the K-State Engineering Complex. Check in is from 9-9:30 a.m.

Engineering a Dream is a day camp to inspire middle school students to pursue a future in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

This event is intended for middle school students — especially multicultural students — either as individuals, classroom groups, church groups, or similar organizations.

Attendees will be chaperoned at all times during their stay on campus by K-State undergraduate and graduate students who will serve as their mentors.

Register for the event online.
