Lafene Health Center sends COVID-19 vaccine survey to identify eligible faculty, staff and students

Submitted by Lafene Health Center

Later today, Lafene Health Center will reissue the vaccine interest survey to all current Kansas State University faculty, staff and students. The survey will expire in 14 days. The email will include a link with directions for completing a survey about the COVID-19 vaccine.

Kansas is currently in phase 2 in the prioritization plan. All those age 65 and older and all high-contact critical workers, which now includes higher education, are prioritized for vaccination, in addition to anyone from phase 1 who has not yet been vaccinated.

If you believe you are in phase 2 and do not receive an invitation to complete a vaccine interest survey by Wednesday, March 3, please email Lafene Health Center at lafene@k-state.edu and include your Wildcat ID number, or WID.

If you have already received a COVID-19 vaccine, please complete the survey and indicate your status when appropriate.

At this time, a vaccine clinic is not scheduled for this week. If Lafene Health Center receives vaccines in the future, there will be a limited number available and not everyone in the current phase will be able to receive a vaccine. The process will be fair and inclusive while following the Kansas Department of Health and Environment phase and prioritization guidelines.

More information about the COVID-19 vaccine and a list of frequently asked questions can be found on the K-State COVID-19 vaccine information website.
