K-State campuses to close Feb. 15-16 due to rolling blackouts

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

Due to rolling blackouts in the region, all Kansas State University campuses will close at 5 p.m. Feb. 15 and remain closed on Feb. 16. All in-person and remote classes are canceled for the rest of Feb. 15 and on Feb. 16.

Essential employees should report to work or contact their supervisors if unable to work. Employees who can work remotely should do so.

Lafene Health Center will be closed. On-campus dining services on both the Manhattan and Polytechnic campuses will operate on reduced hours.

Researchers should prepare for potential outages.

Additional information is available from Gov. Kelly.
