Update for students on Manhattan area flooding

Submitted by Communications and Marketing

All students who have remained in the Manhattan area for the summer should stay connected with city communications about flooding from Tuttle Creek releases. Visit the City of Manhattan's flood website, call the 24-hour flood hotline at 785-587-4526 or email FloodInfo2019@gmail.comRead update information from K-State.

Students who are or may be affected by flooding should contact the Office of Student Life at 785-532-6432 or Make a Report. Once this report is submitted, a member of the Office of Student Life staff will be in contact within 12 hours.

Student Life staff can help communicate with faculty if there are concerns about absences from summer classes.

For students who may be displaced or evacuated from their homes, the American Red Cross opened a shelter location at Westview Church, located at 615 Gillespie Drive. Additional housing concerns and resources for students may be available by contacting Student Life staff.
