If you have information about a hazing incident or are concerned that hazing may be occurring, please report it to Student Support & Accountability (SSA). Reports may be submitted through the Hazing Incident Reporting Form or by contacting SSA directly.

Reporting Considerations

All are encouraged to report concerns of hazing as soon as possible. Accurate and detailed information is encouraged in order for the university to best be able to address and enforce policy.

While individuals may choose to remain anonymous thoughout the reporting process, providing contact information when comfortable doing so may assist university staff in gathering additional information, better understanding the reported concern, and following up as needed.

Retaliation is a violation of the Student Organization Conduct Code and Process for Discipline. Students concerned about retaliation as a result of reporting an incident should contact Student Support & Accountability.

Hazing Investigation Process

The Student Organization Conduct Code and Process for Discipline outlines the various investigation and procedures conducted by Student Support & Accountability. Upon receiving a report, an initial review of the report will be conducted to determine next steps. This may include follow up with the reporting party, campus partners, etc. After initial fact finding, the Director of Conduct or designee will initiate applicable procedures as outlined in the Student Organization Conduct Code and Process for Discipline. If the incident is determined to be individual in nature, the case may be referred through the Student Code of Conduct process.
