Advising Institutes

Advising institutes provide an opportunity for professional development focusing on student success at K-State. Typically, the institutes are hosted twice a year, in early January and over the summer. Topics include current issues, university updates, and an emphasis on connection within the advising community.

The Academic Advising Institute is sponsored by NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising and the Office of Student Success. For more information, please contact Jeannie Brown Leonard at or Kiley Moody at

You can view previous sessions on our previous institutes webpage (eID required).
