Emerging Leaders Summit

Join us Friday, February 20, 2026 for the Emerging Leaders' Summit, hosted by K-State’s Student Governing Association!

This exciting event gives high school students an inside look at the incredible opportunities for leadership and involvement at K-State, spotlighting the impact of student government and other student organizations across campus. Whether you’re already passionate about getting involved or just starting to explore your interests, this summit will spark inspiration and help you discover your place at K-State. Leave feeling energized, empowered, and ready to jump-start your Wildcat experience!

Tentative Schedule

10:30 - 12 - Campus Tour through the Office of Recruitment and Admissions

12 - 12:45 - Lunch* in the K-State Student Union

12:45 - 1:30 - SGA Stations

1:30 - 2:15 - K-State Student Organization Leader's Panel

2:15 - 2:30 - Wrap Up and head back home!

Attendee Information

All student participants must be accompanied by an adult chaperone during this event. K-State requires participants provide at least one adult chaperone per 12 student attendees.

Travel and Meals

Participants are responsible for their own transportation. Buses are welcome to park in designated areas on campus and will be validated by the Office of Recruitment and Admissions.

*Participants are responsible for purchasing their own meals during the lunch break in the Union. View dining options on the Union website. Cash and card payment options are available at all restaurants.

Registration

A designated group chaperone should complete the registration form on behalf of the attendees they will be supervising during the event.
