Student Allocations
Information:
The Student Allocations Committee (SAC) receives and reviews the funding requests for travel events submitted by student organizations. SAC is responsible for choosing whether to fund these groups based on the merits and educational value of the events. Competitive Sports Clubs and Academic Competition Teams may apply to receive an annual budget for the succeeding fiscal year. All deadlines are listed below. Regulations:
Student organizations must be registered and in good standing with Student Programs and Involvement to receive funding from SAC. Student organizations may only receive two travel allocations a year with an annual limit of $200.00 per student for up to 15 students ($3,000.00 total). Travel Allocations may be used for transportation, lodging, registration fees, or any other expense deemed relevant to travel by Student Allocations Committee. Competitive Sports Clubs and Academic Competition teams may use funds for annual expenses. The Student Allocations Committee's discretion shall include, but not be limited to, previous usage of funding, educational value, and recognition gained by the University.
