Frontiers Clinical and Translational Science Institute is now accepting letters of intent for the Fall 2026 Mock Study Section. Important Dates: Submit your letter of interest. This Research Solutions Opening (RSO) aims to strengthen the DARPA Program Manager (PM) community by engaging academic researchers capable of addressing DARPA's hard problems. PMs that are passionate about tackling the most complex technical challenges, pushing the boundaries of science and technology, and shaping the future of defense and innovation. Together, through this effort, we will pioneer revolutionary solutions, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and empower the brightest minds to make the impossible possible. This RSO also seeks to fund the independent research ideas of these passionate researchers. This RSO is limited to Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) candidates and proposals from accredited U.S. colleges and universities. The U.S. National Science Foundation Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (NSF MPS) has published five new funding opportunities supporting foundational research in astronomical sciences, chemistry, materials research, mathematical sciences and physics. The five funding opportunities collectively span more than 40 research programs supported by NSF MPS. Each funding opportunity includes multiple foundational research programs grouped as follows: These funding opportunities do not have proposal deadlines. Proposals are accepted by NSF anytime, although some programs have recommended target dates. More information is available here. Join us on Wednesday, October 7 to learn more about ARPA-H’s Emerging Health Innovators (EHI) initiative, a funding opportunity designed to identify and support the next generation of health innovators pursuing ambitious, high-impact ideas. EHI provides early-career researchers with an opportunity to pursue bold research aligned with ARPA-H’s mission while gaining exposure to the ARPA model of innovation. Through the initiative, participants can work on high-impact health challenges, engage with experienced ARPA-H Program Managers (PMs), and build connections across the broader health innovation ecosystem. This webinar is appropriate for early-career researchers and innovators across biomedical research, health, engineering, data science, and related disciplines who are interested in ARPA-H funding and applying their expertise to transformative health challenges. Join Nucleate and ARPA-H for a live, one-hour session on what ARPA-H actually funds, how the EHI Initiative works, and what it takes to put together a competitive submission. Free and open to all. Register to receive the Zoom link. Do you have an innovation that you want to feature at the next Agricultural Outlook Forum? Does it benefit farmers or directly impact consumers?
