Research administration system: Cayuse SP
The Office of the Vice President for Research utilizes Cayuse SP for processing sponsored projects.
Cayuse SP handles the entire sponsored project lifecycle management from proposal creation to award close out by providing a centralized system with cloud storage for all project records with easy access for research administrators as well as for principal investigators.
K-State's single sign on, or SSO, is used to manage access to Cayuse SP. K-State employees can access Cayuse Cayuse SP by clicking the purple "Sign Into Cayuse" button located to the right of the screen.
To request access to the Cayuse system, please fill out the online Cayuse user request form.
To request a new sponsor in the Cayuse system, please fill out the Cayuse sponsor request form.
RADAR
Research And Discovery Activity Reporting, or RADAR, provides unparalleled access and insight into K-State research activities. Utilize the site to access various types of research-related data including:
- Current and pending
- Protocol
- Training
Access to RADAR does require a paid license for Power BI and you must be given access. To gain access to RADAR or if you have any questions or need additional details contact radar@k-state.edu

All faculty and staff are encouraged to become familiar with and utilize the new system.
