Digital Diplomas and Certificates
Beginning with the Spring 2023 graduating class, Kansas State University provides all degree recipients with an official digital diploma. In addition, students who earn an official credit-bearing certificate will also receive a digital version of their certificate.
When ordering a replacement credential, each credential must be pruchased as a separate order. For example, if you earned two certificates and one bachelor's degree, you will need to place three separate orders.
Please note: The University does not mail paper certificates at the institutional level. Starting Spring 2023, all official certificates are issued digitally. However, individual colleges or academic departments may choose to provide a printed certificate at their discretion, though it is not required.
Upon completion of a degree or certificate program, graduates will receive an email and text notification with instructions for electronically claiming their diploma or certificate.
You will receive a notification at the email address marked as "preferred" in KSIS. Please verify or update your preferred email address under the Personal Information tab in KSIS.
Once the notification is sent, you will have three (3) days to confirm or update your diploma mailing address. Be sure your information is accurate to avoid delays or delivery issues.

Check Your Email or Text Message
Look for your award notification in your K-State email or via text message. -
Log In with Your K-State Email
Start by logging in using your@ksu.eduemail address. If that doesn’t work, try@k-state.edu— both formats are used at K-State, and your assigned address may vary.Important:
@k-state.eduaddresses are centrally issued by the university and are not the same as departmental email addresses (e.g., Vet Med, Math, or Physics). Departmental emails are managed separately and cannot be used to claim your digital credential. -
Create Your Parchment Account
Use the link provided in your notification to set up your Parchment digital credentials account. -
Access and Share Your Credential
Once claimed, you can:-

You have lifetime access to your digital credential through your Parchment account. View it online anytime or download a secure PDF copy to keep for your records.
International Recognition
Digital diplomas and certificates issued through Parchment are accepted by many countries as valid credentials and can often serve as an alternative to an apostille in international contexts.
Your digital diploma or certificate will always be accessible through your Parchment account. You may log in, download, or share your credential as often as needed—for life.
