The Digital Accessibility Task Force is committed to sharing available trainings and workshops to support digital accessibility compliance.

Summer 2025 Workshops

While the new remediation tools and their accompanying trainings won't be available until fall 2025, we have aggregated opportunities over the course of Summer 2025 that will allow you to get a step ahead on your content, whether academic content or web content.


Academic Content Workshops

Academic content workshops are administered by instructional designers within the Center for Academic Innovation.

Join the Center for Academic Innovation instructional design team for a hands-on Digital Accessibility Workshop tailored just for faculty.

Whether you're new to accessibility or already familiar with the basics, this 3-hour workshop will help you take real steps toward creating a more inclusive course experience. This workshop is for the digital content used in both online and in-person classes. We suggest bringing your own laptop. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Web Content Workshops

CMS Training: Accessibility Module
On June 26, the Web Services team within the Division of Communications and Marketing launched an accessibility module in its CMS Canvas course.

  • All active CMS have been admitted to the CMS Canvas course and were notified via email of the accessibility module's launch.
  • As part of our continued efforts to become WCAG compliant by April 2026, CMS users are to complete the accessibility module and the web editor agreement in the Canvas course by September 26, 2025.
  • The module should take about one hour to complete
  • If we do not receive notification that you have completed the module and agreement by September 26, access to the CMS will be locked until the module is completed.
