A taste of K-State community
K-State Students are invited to join us on May 8 as Lunch with the Lintons returns!
Bring your student ID and enjoy a complimentary lunch from a variety of food trucks on the front lawn of the President’s Residence from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Lunch with the Lintons is a signature event hosted each semester by Kansas State University President Richard Linton and First Lady Sally Linton. Held on the President's Residence lawn, this beloved event tradition celebrates and thanks Wildcats for their contributions to K-State while building campus community through free food, live music and fun!
The event features two separate celebrations — one for faculty and staff, and one for students — ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate.
Campus expansion
Lunch with the Lintons is hitting the road! President and First Lady Linton traveled to K-State Olathe in fall 2025 and will travel to K-State Salina in spring 2026, celebrating the unique contributions both campuses bring to K-State's vibrant culture. Faculty, staff and students from these locations are invited to enjoy a free catered meal at these special events.
