On my second day living here, I visited Manhattan Hill with all of my new friends I had made in Marlatt Hall.

Why did you choose K-State?

I chose K-State because of the many opportunities for research they offered and the overall costs of attendance was less than any of the other schools I was interested in.

How are you involved at K-State?

I worked in a cell-biology lab for about three years. I was in K-INBRE, which financially supported my research for two years. I have been a College of Arts & Sciences ambassador since January 2021.

What has been your favorite K-State experience?

Working in the lab has been my favorite experience here at K-State.

How does K-State care for Kansans in your hometown community?

K-State will regularly send a representative to Hutchinson High School. They have also always had a booth set up at the Kansas State Fair, which is held in Hutchinson.

Why do you want to bring K-State to your community?

I think it would be good to have more representatives from K-State in Hutchinson to teach prospective students about more of the unknown opportunities here.
