Formula Wheat

We are proud to host Formula Wheat since 2023. This competition is designed to provide formula teams across the country another chance to gain experience and hone their driving skills in the acceleration, autocross, skidpad, and endurance events.

Formula Wheat 2026, as pictured above, from left to right, we hosted the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Colorado - Boulder, Colorado State University, the University of Missouri, the University of Kansas, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Oklahoma, along with our own cars competing and almuni.

This year not only did we compete with 2 cars but the University of Missouri, Oklahoma State University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the University of Colorado - Boulder competed with 2 cars as well. Overall we had 14 cars competing officially in Formula Wheat.

Another major achievement in hosting Formula Wheat this year was expanding the event to include electric vehicle (EV) teams. We were excited to welcome the University of Missouri, who brought their EV car alongside their IC car to compete. This addition created an exciting competition experience and a valuable learning opportunity for everyone involved, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing between both IC and EV teams.
