Visitor Parking
Visitors to the Manhattan campus have several parking options. You can park in the parking garage, at parking meters located throughout campus or purchase a guest parking permit. Please note that guest parking permits do not include parking meters.
Cashless parking meters accept payments by credit or debit card and through the HonkMobile app.
When parking on campus, please ensure that your license plate faces the drive lane. Visitors must comply with all posted parking and traffic regulations.
If you are visiting the campus to attend an event or conference, please check with your event or conference coordinator to determine if parking is included in your registration fee.
Visitor Parking Permit
If you are visiting the campus for several days, you may want to purchase a guest parking permit. Guest permits are valid only in surface lots and cannot be used in the parking garage, meters, or in reserved spaces. The pricing for guest parking permits is as follows:

All visitors can purchase a daily permit to park in designated surface lots. All visitors can purchase daily, weekly and monthly permits in the parking garage.
Weekly surface lot permits are available for individuals with specific university-related needs, such as construction workers and contractors, visiting scholars and professors, and others who need temporary parking for university-related purposes. If your situation doesn’t fit one of these categories, requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility.
You can purchase these permits in person at the Parking Services office in the parking garage. You will need to show a valid driver's license to purchase a permit. Unfortunately, visitor permits can not be purchased over the phone.
K-State employs License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, eliminating the need for physical parking permits, such as hang tags. Therefore, visitors are no longer required to print a visitor permit.
