Veo Scooters

K-State has partnered with the city of Manhattan and Veo, for a scooter share program.

Anyone over 18 can rent dockless scooters throughout the city and on the Manhattan campus. To use the scooters, simply download the Veo app. The cost to unlock a scooter is $1, and the fee is 35 cents per minute to ride.

How to Ride

  1. Download the VeoRide App. VeoRide is available on the App Store and Google Play.
  2. Find an available scooter. You can locate available scooters using the VeoRide app.
  3. Unlock the scooter. Each scooter has a QR code located between the handlebars. Scan the QR code with your smartphone to unlock the scooter.
  4. Ride. Make sure to follow K-State's scooter guidelines while riding.
  5. End ride. Upon completion of the ride, riders must park their vehicle in designated parking locations visible and navigable in the Veo app. Riders must take a photo within the app to confirm proper parking. If you do not properly park the scooter, you will continue to be charged for the ride.

Veo scooters will be unavailable during certain community events or weather-related events. Motorized scooters are required to follow traffic laws and may be ticketed or arrested for violations.
