Donations 4 Citations

K-State Parking Services has partnered with Cats' Cupboard and the Student Governing Association to launch Donations 4 Citations.

Not all citations qualify for the Donations 4 Citations program. Eligible citations include improper parking (excludes NO PARKING ZONES), expired meter/unpaid garage time, unregistered vehicle/no permit and parked in the wrong area (excludes NO PARKING ZONES).

Donations will NOT be accepted if the citation is passed 14 days after issue, or if it is escalated or denied on appeal.

To qualify for citation forgiveness, individuals must donate 10 or more new items from the list below. A purchase receipt must be presented with the items.

• White rice, bag
• Red lentils, bag
• Marinara sauce, jar
• Laundry detergent
• Vegetable oil
• Pineapple, can
• Jelly or jam
• Ketchup or mustard
• Peaches, can
• Shampoo

This program allows students, faculty and staff to have one parking citation forgiven once each academic year by donating nonperishable food items and hygiene products to Cats' Cupboard.
