Appeals

The University created the K-State Parking Citations Appeals Board (PCAB) to assess the validity of violation notices upon request from the violator. The procedures are as follows:

  1. The Appellant must complete and submit the Appeals Form online by the end of business 14 days after the violation notice is issued. The PCAB may either uphold or dismiss the violation. Citations that have already been paid cannot be appealed, and any appeals submitted after the 14-day period will not be accepted.
  2. All decisions made by PCAB are final.
  3. All penalties must be paid within 14 days of the PCAB's decision date. Failure to make the payment by this deadline may result in the impoundment of the vehicle.

To submit an appeal form, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the KSU Parking Portal home page.
  2. Search for the citation by inputting the citation number or license plate associated with the citation.
  3. Confirm your license plate to continue.
  4. You will need to login with an account to proceed with an appeal. If you are not associated with K-State, you will need to create a visitor account.
  5. Once logged in, review the citation and photo attachments.
  6. Review the provided documents, and confirm you have read and understood these policies.
  7. Follow the prompts to submit your appeal.
