Final Week to Register: Kansas Turf & Ornamentals Field Day, August 6
This is the final week to register for the Kansas Turf & Ornamentals Field Day at the John C. Pair Horticulture Research and Extension Center.
Join us on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, at 1901 E. 95th St. S., Haysville, KS. This field day is built for professionals across every corner of the turf and ornamentals world, including lawn care, athletic fields, golf courses, landscape, nursery, and grounds maintenance.
Presentations and tours begin around 8:45 a.m. and rotate between research plots and educational stations, with hands-on problem diagnosis, commercial exhibits, and equipment displays throughout the day. It’s a great chance to see the latest research up close, chat with industry experts, and get your questions answered.
You can also earn credit hours toward several green industry licenses:
- KDA Pesticide Certification: 1 hour in 3A and 1 hour in 3B
- GCSAA: 0.25 education points
- ISA: 1 hour toward CA, TC, UF; and 0.5 hour toward BCMA Management, BCMA Practice
