Spot Fire Press students, faculty and guests show their support for Day of Giving. Spot Fire Press is a multidisciplinary applied learning initiative that gives students experience creating and publishing limited-edition prints, zines, posters and wearables.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who supported K-State Day of Giving on April 7, whether through a gift or your time and energy. We appreciate all you did to promote the effort, engage on social media, and raise funds to help give students an unbeatable K-State experience.

In the day-long celebration, K-State received 2,737 donations totaling $7,508,135. Our college ranked 1st among colleges/major units in number of gifts, at 326, and 2nd in dollars raised, at $975,343!

What’s more, thanks to having so many supporters, $19,000 of that total came from bonus funds we earned through challenges and leaderboard competitions!

Thanks to many of you, some lucky K-State squirrels are no longer nameless! With a Day of Giving gift of $18.63 or more, donors could name a campus squirrel. We are pleased to present to you some of the squirrel-tastic monikers of the Squirrels of Arts and Sciences!
