Open forums scheduled for animal sciences and industry department head finalists

The search committee for the department head for the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry announces three finalists who will interview for the position and invites you to attend the open forums presented by each candidate.

All open forums on the following dates will take place from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the Agronomy Education Center.

• Tuesday, Sept. 22 – Teresa Douthit
• Thursday, Sept. 24 – Scott Eilert
• Monday, Sept. 28 – Mark Boggess

K-State faculty, staff and students are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum and Q&A session titled, "From Tradition to Transformation: A Strategic Future for a Next-Gen Land Grant Animal Sciences and Industry Department."

Application materials and an itinerary for each candidate are available. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. For those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost's search website.

There will also be an online candidate feedback survey available on that website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two business days following each candidate's open forum, and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.

Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback by Friday, October 2.
