Pay for parking on the go with HonkMobile

After April 27, students, faculty, staff and visitors will need to use the HonkMobile app for mobile parking payments. HonkMobile is replacing the current app, ParkMobile.

When users pay for parking in the garage and at meters across the Manhattan campus using the HonkMobile app, they can easily start, manage and extend their parking sessions directly from their phone, without having to return to their vehicle.

To pay for parking using the app, follow these steps.

  1. Download and sign up: Download the free app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account using your phone number and email address.
  2. Add vehicle and payment: Enter your license plate number and a payment method. Credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal is accepted. You can save multiple vehicles and payment methods.
  3. Select zone and time: Once parked, open the app and select the Zone ID. Zone IDs are located on signs in the parking garage and stickers on the parking meters.
  4. Pay and park: Select the duration of your parking session, then confirm payment.
  5. Extend session: If you need more time, you can extend your session directly from your phone without returning to your car.

Campus parking meters are cashless, accepting payment via credit or debit card or through an online payment app. To learn more, visit the Parking Services website.

Faculty and staff with an annual K-State parking permit will receive a renewal email in July. Permits can be renewed online through the K-State Parking Portal. Be sure to renew your permits before Aug. 1 to avoid a citation.
