Nominations open for K-State 2025 International Educator Award

The Office of International Programs is now accepting nominations for the 2025 International Educator Award, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing international education at Kansas State University.

Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Sept. 30. Faculty, staff, administrators and other members of the K-State community are eligible for the award, which includes a $1,000 honorarium.

“The 2025 International Educator Award is the premier individual international award for the K-State community,” said Grant Chapman, associate provost for international programs. “It represents many years of faculty and staff commitment to elevating international awareness and highlights those implementing global education and global engagement.”

The award recipient will be announced during International Education Week, Nov. 10-21. The honor will be formally presented at the spring 2026 All-University Awards Ceremony.

International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the Department of State. The celebration highlights the benefits of international education and exchange, promotes programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attracts future leaders from abroad to study, learn and share experiences in the United States.
